Action icon Sylvester Stallone will direct The Force Awakens star Adam Driver in an upcoming bio pic based off of the life of Afghanistan War Vet, Staff Sergeant Travis Miller.
As a result of an IED explosion during his third tour of service in Afghanistan, Miller underwent and survived a quadruple amputation. His book, Tough as They Come, chronicles his life changing experience in hopes to inspire others to push forward despite the odds.
According to Deadline Hollywood, the film has not been given the green light yet, but Driver would portray Miller on screen, and Stallone would helm the movie as well as play Miller's father-in-law, who was instrumental to Miller's recovery.
Stallone blew everyone away in 2015's Creed, so pairing him with Driver (who is a Veteran himself) should result in an emotional, but powerfully inspiring movie.
